All ITIL courses have been assessed and accredited by Peoplecert for delivery in the classroom, on-line and as tutor-supported self-study solutions. To offer maximum flexibility, for a single fee, students can access all the resources that make up all of these options. Students can attend webinars, study at their own convenience, access on-line content and get help from their tutor. They can make up their study time in a combination of ways to suit their timetable, rather than having to commit to a single way of learning. They can also attend modules more than once, if they wish.
Of course, there are tried and tested formulae for scheduling this kind of training and our programme supports them. Flexibility is built in for those for whom it adds value. We will track attendance on behalf of the student to ensure compliance with the requirement to attend training in order to be permitted to sit exams.
Peoplecert have introduced a scheme, called Take 2, whereby a second exam can be purchased for any certificate at greatly reduced cost, if bought in advance, to insure against failure. For peace of mind, we include Take 2 exam insurance in the price of all our intermediate and specialist courses. This supports a number of exam-taking strategies and protects the considerable investment attending a course represents. Every student will, in any case, be assessed for their readiness to sit the exam and advised accordingly by their tutor. As students have unlimited access to all the different resources that make up our courses, it is easy for them to revisit a topic if advised to do so.
Courses are modular. Rather than viewing a course as lasting 2 or 3 days, we have designed them in half-day modules. The modules are scheduled so that students can follow a course in a short space of time e.g. a week, but with the flexibility of remote delivery, we can schedule courses for mornings only or afternoons only, meaning that students are less likely to be overloaded with information and more likely to be able to be spared from their day jobs. In addition, students who are pressed for time can select which modules they want to attend in person and which they will study for in their own time. Courses are scheduled in cycles through the year and students may attend any module from any iteration of their course in any cycle and repeat modules at will. For those studying at their own pace, each module is followed by a tutor surgery so students have predictable access to in-person support. They can also contact the team with questions, at any time, by eMail.
All courses include pre-course, in-course and post-course work which will be marked by one of our trainers, all of whom hold both ITIL Expert (ITIL 2007) and Managing Professional (ITIL 4) certifications.
Payment is required on enrolment to ensure a place. Our approach to teaching and scheduling means our trainer capacity determines how many students we can look after at any one time. Fees are fully refundable up until first attendance or access to material. Exam vouchers, once allocated to an individual are not transferable and, therefore, not refundable.
All modules are guaranteed to run, even with only one person subscribed. As a courtesy to our trainers, we ask that once enrolled on a particular event, students give as much notice as possible of non-attendance.
