VC3: VME Communications Module 3 - Advanced and Diagnostics

Audience

This course is for technical staff who need to gain advanced network skills and knowledge of diagnostic techniques in order to implement, support and manage VME-based networks.

Prerequisites

You should attend VC22: VME Communications Module 2.2 - Networking, or equivalent, and have at least three months experience using this knowledge, before attending this course.

1 day. Hands on.

Course Objectives

On successful completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Set up network connections to support ADI and CSA services.
  • Understand the commands available to manage VME networking related tasks and services.
  • Understand VME network diagnostic tracing facilities and be able to provide Fujitsu support staff with relevant network and connection trace information produced by VME.
