This course is for technical staff who need to gain a basic knowledge of networking in a VME environment in order to implement, support and manage VME-based networks.

Prerequisites

You should attend VC1: VME Communications Module 1 - TCPIP Intro before attending this course.

Course Objectives

On successful completion of this course you will have a basic knowledge of VME and AppEx hosted network connections using Service Access Points (SAPs), and be able to configure incoming network connections over TCP/IP to support VME Comms Client access using RSA and FTF.
