Audience
This course is intended for existing system administrators experienced in one flavour of UNIX/Linux who wish to transfer their existing knowledge to a new flavour of UNIX/Linux. It is particularly suitable for those moving from using UNIX to using Linux.
Prerequisites
Six month’s experience of UNIX/Linux system administration is recommended.

Course Objectives
On completion of the course delegates will be able to manage, and provide first line support for, a new flavour of UNIX. They will be able to cope satisfactorily with the day-to-day administration of a multi-user site and support both system administrators and users within their new flavour of UNIX.
Workshops are tailored to meet the needs of each client and can include any combination of Solaris, AIX, HPUX, Red Hat, SUSE and Ubuntu.
