This course is suited to both technical IT users who want to gain an understanding of the out-of-the-box capabilities of SharePoint and users from a non-technical background who want to manage and control a SharePoint site.

Prerequisites
A good level of computer literacy and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products would be advantageous for this course.
No prior knowledge of SharePoint is required, however those who have attended our SharePoint for End Users course will benefit from this previous exposure to SharePoint.

Course Objectives
This three day course covers all elements users need to be familiar with in order to manage and build SharePoint sites. This course is a zero to hero course taking delegates with no knowledge of SharePoint to an advanced level of competence. Delegates will be able to configure the out-of-the-box elements of SharePoint to create sites and applications to meet their business needs.
On course completion delegates will be able to:
- Navigate the SharePoint interface
- Upload and work with documents within SharePoint
- Describe the different lists types in SharePoint and how to use them
- Personalise their SharePoint experience
- Use tagging, likes, follows and shares to manage information
- Select appropriate SharePoint templates for their needs
- Configure templates to meet their needs
- Analyse business problems and transfer these to SharePoint
- Manage permissions within their site
