All delegates need a thorough understanding and technical background in the z/OS environment.

Course Objectives
Omegamon is a great tool to find out what is going on and what is not going on. It is a window into your sysplex, system or subsystem. All Omegamon products have a similar look and feel and this training can be tailored to cover the basic principles before looking at the specific Omegamon products you require.
Course Content
This course will cover an Introduction to both the enhanced and classic Omegamon interface for some products and navigation techniques required using a 3270 session. This will include logging onto the Omegamon interface, and menu structures. We will spend some time on the Administration, Customisation and Management of you E3270UI session, tailoring for individual users. We will then go into further depth regarding specific Omegamon functionality with many of the associated z/OS subsystems, including the analysis and troubleshooting tools that Omegamon introduces to your z/OS environment, together with a comprehensive overview of the Tivoli Enterprise Portal (if required).
