Prerequisites
There are no pre-requisites for this SAFe for Teams course. However, an understanding of Agile concepts and terminology, awareness of Scrum, Kanban and XP, a working knowledge of software and hardware development processes is highly recommended for people intending to take the SAFe Practitioner (SP) certification exam.

Course Objectives
Build the skills needed to become a high-performing team member of an Agile Release Train (ART) and learn how to collaborate effectively with other teams—by becoming a SAFe 5 Practitioner (SP).
During this two-day SAFe® for Teams course, attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of the ART, how it delivers value, and what they can do to effectively perform their role using Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
They will also learn how to write stories and break down features, plan and execute iterations, and plan Program Increments. Finally, they’ll learn about the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, how to effectively integrate with other teams in the program, and what it takes to continuously improve the train.

- Apply SAFe to scale Lean and Agile development in an enterprise
- Know your team and its role in the ART
- Know all other teams in the ART, their roles, and the dependencies between the teams
- Plan and execute iterations, and demonstrate value
- Plan program increments

Assessment
Candidates are assessed at the end of the SAFe for Teams 5.0 course with a closed book, 90 minutes web-based multiple-choice exam. Candidates must attain a combined score of 35/45 (77%) to obtain certification as a "SAFe Practitioner".
The exam is included free with the purchase of the course.
