This course is for databse administrators responsible for the migration and support of SQL Server from versions 7.0 or 2000 to the new 2005 release. |
| PREREQUISITES: |
Delegates should be experienced SQL Server administrators. Attending our SQLServer 2000 Administration class or equivalent knowledge is essential. |

| OBJECTIVES: |
This course will upgrade the delegates’ skills to SQL Server 2005 so that they can support, configure, and maintain enterprise SQL Server 2005 databases and servers. On completion of the course delegates will be able to:
· Install SQL Server 2005.
· Use the new administration tools and utilities.
· Maintain the database.
· Complete backup and restore functions.
· Implement data availability solution with mirroring and clustering.
