No previous knowledge of project management is assumed other than a basic awareness of project work in the delegate’s own business environment. |

| OBJECTIVES: |
A well motivated and managed team is critical to the success of any project. However, most project management methods stop short of specific techniques for the leadership and management of a project’s most important resources – its people. This intensive, practical course addresses the skills required to develop and manage effective project teams. The techniques used are fully compatible with most structured project management methods including PRINCE2. The aim of the course is to develop a range of skills to establish and manage effective project teams. The course will enable delegates to:
· Recognise the factors in building and managing an effective team
· Build an effective team structure tailored to their project needs
· Establish themselves as a leader and recognise individual team strengths
· Delegate effectively
· Communicate effectively at all levels
