AUDIENCE:   This course is ideal for experienced IT operators and administrators. PREREQUISITES:   Attendees should be familiar with the operating environment of the system. They should have attended i Operations or have equivalent experience DURATION:   2 days. Hands on. OBJECTIVES:   The course aims to allow you develop some basic programming, work management, menu building and iSeries Navigator skills. There is some overlap with the i Operations course; however topics are dealt with in a more in-depth fashion. There are extensive hands-on exercises. On completion you will be able to write simple CL programs and menus to simplify and automate operations. You will have a better understanding of how the system carries out work and you will be able to use iSeries Navigator to carry out operations.
