| PREREQUISITES: |
An understanding of z/OS which may be gained from the Verhoef z/OS for Beginners course. An understanding of the Java Programming language would also be useful. |
| OBJECTIVES: |
The WebSphere Application Server allows a system running z/OS to act as a Web Server. This course identifies the components of the WebSphere Application Server and their functions. It covers the benefits of using z/OS systems as web servers. The steps to implement the WebSphere Application Server are outlined. Aspects of security and operations are also identified. |
