Linux Support for SuperNOVA Users – Part 2




AUDIENCE:   This course is for experienced support staff who have some hands on experience with a LINUX based system that is hosting the Fujitsu SuperNOVA VME environment.

PREREQUISITES:   Attendees should have a good basic understanding of LINUX, gained through the Part One course of the same title and, preferably, at least one months practical experience.

DURATION:   3 days. Hands on.

OBJECTIVES:   This course will provide attendees with the self-sufficiency and confidence to manage, support, install and troubleshoot a Red Hat/SuSE LINUX based system that is hosting the Fujitsu SuperNOVA VME environment. After attending this course, delegates will be able to install and administer multi-user, multi-system LINUX/SuperNOVA VME site and provide support to users. This course will also provide the necessary knowledge of problem solving techniques required to ensure the continued smooth running of the system. The course is highly interactive and consists of theory with plenty of hands on practical content.
