SuSE Linux Administration Part 1




AUDIENCE:   Computer users who have attended our UNIX or Linux Essentials course or have equivalent knowledge and will be required to administer one or more multi-user SUSE Linux environments.

PREREQUISITES:   Delegates must have an understanding of UNIX/Linux basics, ideally gained through attending our UNIX/Linux Essentials course.

DURATION:   4 days. Hands on.

OBJECTIVES:   SuSE Linux is one of the oldest commercial Linux distributions available and with its recent takeover by Novell, is finding its way into business, education and government. Due to its outstanding reliability and performance, SUSE Enterprise Linux is used extensively for file, database and web server applications.

The SUSE Linux Administration Part 1 course will allow delegates to manage user accounts; install software and hardware; access disk devices & boot-up and shutdown systems.
