File Aid Essentials




AUDIENCE:   Programmers needing to use the FileAid tool.

PREREQUISITES:   Delegates should have previous experience of VSAM and TSO/ISPF, both of which can be obtained on the relevant Verhoef course.

DURATION:   1 Day. Hands on.

OBJECTIVES:   This workshop will teach Programmers to use ISPF-like commands in File-Aid to modify different file structures.
Upon successful completion, you will be able to use File-Aid to:
Edit and Browse VSAM files.
Manipulate longer records which cannot be edited in ISPF.
Improve productivity during file maintenance using other available utilities.
