AUDIENCE:   This course is designed for personnel who install, maintain, or use the CICS product. Primarily, CICS system and application programmers will benefit from the course. However, technical personnel from other areas (communications, database, etc.) as well as management may wish to take this course to develop proficiency in the concepts and features of CICS Transaction Server. PREREQUISITES:   Students should have some background or knowledge of previous releases of CICS. DURATION:   3 days. OBJECTIVES:   This course provides an in depth look at the changes that have occurred in the CICS product up to and including the delivery of CICS Transaction Server 2.3. New features are covered and modifications to existing CICS resources are discussed.
