History:  Terry has been associated with Verhoef Training for 15 years, which includes 9 years as an instructor. He covers a range of subjects including Assembler Programming, CICS System Administration, Job Control Language, ISPF Dialog Management, TSO/ISPF Usage, REXX Programming, VSAM Fundamentals and z/OS Fundamentals.

In addition to tutoring Terry also supplies acts as technical support for a number of fellow instructors. This responsibility embraces software products outside of his teaching comfort zone.

His considerable experience with Information Technology has been gained with organisations as diverse as Barclay Bank Plc., Data 100 Corporation, Unilever Computer Services Limited, Synapse Computer Services Limited, and BT. The common theme with these companies was that they operated with a Service Culture.

This varied background provides a broad experience, not just relating to Information Technology, but embracing wider business issues. Indeed while at BT he managed his department through the transition to Quality Standard ISO/9000 and Investors in People (IiP) accreditation.
His business acumen assisted with assignments at both Sheffield and Rotherham Colleges of further education in the delivery of a range of courses which included Business Administration.

In recent years time has been allocated each summer to act in the capacity of mentor for students engaged in the Enterprise Challenge, run by Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam Universities. This is a business competition aimed at fostering entrepreneurial skills and involves much more the just Information Technology.
