Linux Support for SuperNOVA Users – Part 1 |

| AUDIENCE: |
This course is for Technical Support staff who require the basic skills necessary to effectively support LINUX systems. This course is suitable for the Red Hat or SuSE Enterprise editions of LINUX, which in turn are hosting a VME SperNOVA system. |
| PREREQUISITES: |
Attendees should be technical staff who have a moderate to good knowledge of the VME operating system. No prior experience with LINUX is required. |

| OBJECTIVES: |
The course provides attendees new to LINUX with knowledge and confidence to provide day-to-day support of Red Hat/SuSE LINUX based systems that are hosting the Fujitsu SuperNOVA VME Environment. Attendees will gain a fundamental knowledge of the LINUX operating system and be able to use some of the more advanced LINUX facilities. In addition attendees will be able to provide basic support on a day-to-day basis for LINUX-based SuperNOVA systems. The course is highly interactive and consists of theory with plenty of hands on practical content. |
